The RC Micro PID Velocity Controller (RC_UPID) is a "stand-alone" DC motor velocity controller. It requires a DC motor equipped with a 2-channel quadrature encoder. PID test software (located below) may be downloaded for use with a Windows™ based PC. The RC Micro PIDs small footprint allows for its use in a variety of size sensitive velocity control applications.

The RC Micro PID Velocity Controller has a variety of user programmable functions. They include programmable RC signal parameters, virtual stop limits, jog control inputs, auto position save functions, and a serial interface for programming and testing the PID settings.


The RC_UPID accepts standard radio control signals (as from a RC hobbiest transmitter and receiver set) and converts them to motor velocity control signals. Smooth motion and quick response times can be acheived through user joystick control.
