Motor Mind C Carrier Board (MMC_BS2), 12V Active Cooling Kit (12VACK) mounts to MMC_BS2, Easy Roller Robot Wheel Kit (EZR)

The Motor Mind C (MMC) provides control of one or two small brush DC motors. Motor speed and direction can be controlled up to 2.25A continuous current per motor. This module is ideal for controlling small robotic systems.

The Motor Mind C accepts serial commands, but may also be configured for analog control inputs (0-5VDC w/ 2.5V being stopped) or radio control signals (1.0-2.0ms signals w/ 1.5ms being stopped). And can operate with dynamic or free-running brake modes. PWM frequency defaults to 1.2KHz, but in serial mode can be increased to 19.2KHz with a reduction in low duty-cycle resolution (minimum on-time is roughly 8%).

The dual H-bridges on the product come equipped with over-temperature and over-current protection. The status of the H-bridges can be read if operating in serial mode, and an LED indicator lights if a fault condition has occurred.

This product works well with master units like Microchips PIC™ microcontrollers or the Parallax BASIC Stamp™. The Motor Mind C Carrier Board (MMC_BS2) is designed to make connections to the BASIC Stamp™ simple and easy to execute.
