ICON Interface Module (ICON_IM), ICON Position Controller (ICON_PID), Mini PID Position Controller (MPID)

The ICON Serial Adapter (ICON_AD) provides a simple RS232 conversion to allow a PC to communicate with Solutions Cubed products through its comm port. The ICON Serial Adapter was developed to ease programming and testing of Solutions Cubed components. When used in conjunction with Solutions Cubed test software, control, programming, and evaluation of many Solutions Cubed products can be accelerated.

For speed control applications, the ICON Interface Module (ICON_IM) and ICON H-Bridge (ICON_HB) are typically used. Including the ICON Serial Adapter also allows the use of a PC for control. Together the ICON Serial Adapter and ICON Interface Module may also be used as a programming platform for the ICON H-Bridge.

When motor position control is required, the ICON Serial Adapter can be used with the ICON Position Controller (ICON_PID) or the Mini-PID Position Controller (MPID) to provide a link to a PC. Once electrically connected, Solutions Cubed test software can be used to program the PID settings for the position controllers.
